Wicked Attraction: Loners Become Psycho Killers

Source:The New Democrat

It is not uncommon for loners to sort of lose it and become so unhappy to the point that they finally snap lets say and decide to take out their frustrations of being so unhappy in life against everyone they believe has wronged them and anyone who gets in their way. Charlie Manson is a pretty good example of this. Which is why we as a society need to keep a better eye especially on kids who struggle to be social and are either isolated voluntarily or by others. And see if we can reach them before their isolation gets to the point that they can’t take it anymore and take it out on anyone who comes near them. Which I believe is the boiling point that Samantha Bachynski reached. And then coming across a young man who just got of prison and is starting to go psycho himself just made of a deadly combination here.

Discovery ID: Wicked Attraction: ‘Blood Brothers’

Source:Discovery ID- a man who was interviewed for this documentary.

Source:The New Democrat

“In 1985, police in South San Francisco, California respond to a simple shoplifting incident.Within hours, they discover a connection between two male suspects and a list of missing people that spans more than a year.”

If you are familiar with the Hillside Stranglers in the Los Angeles area, then the serial murderers of Leonard Lake and his buddy Charles Ng should sound familiar to you. Except Lake and Ng murdered in the San Francisco area, but what these four men have in common is that they are all pretty pathetic assholes, really, who had rough upbringings and were never very successful in life really at anything that they ever tried to do, except for perhaps murdering, but go back to them being assholes. Had it not have been for Charles Ng’s addiction to stealing, they wouldn’t have been caught, at least when they did. Had Ng not have been a shoplifter knocking off convenient stores, they might still be in business today.

Wicked Attraction: The Witch Killers - Michael & Suzan Carson

Source:The New Democrat

Of all the serial murderers that I know of and have followed in one form or the other, Michael and Suzan Carson have to be the weirdest. And that includes serial murderers like Jeff Dahmer and Charlie Manson. So you know I think you have to be out there to murder in the first place and then way out in left field to become a serial murderer. Good luck hitting a home run to left field in a ballpark of a serial murderer. But then throw in LSD and other mind-warping drugs and you have two people who simply live on a another planet. Visiting Earth to do their evil acts.

And the other thing that gets me about the Carson’s, that is similar to the Manson Family women is that the Carson’s came from good solid normal loving middle class American families. They were not Charlie Manson in the sense of someone who never really had a real home outside of jail. They weren’t people who grew up to abusive parents, or in awful neighborhoods and dropped out of high school to join the local gang of losers. These people had good upbringings and had the opportunity to be very successful in life.

I’m not sure this is a case of two people who were fairly normal and then one day snapped. Suzan didn’t have many of any friends growing up and perhaps as a young women as well. Michael showed signs of going off the lamb during his first marriage. They were both showing signs of mental instability before they even met. So in this sense at least they were sort of perfect for each other. Two people who didn’t fit in well anywhere, but in a horrible sense were perfect each other. Which meant anyone they didn’t like was in danger of losing their lives.

History Channel: 'Cults- Dangerous Devotion: Decoding The Past'

Source:Movies Found Online- From a History Channel documentary about cults.
"Cults - Dangerous Devotion (Decoding the Past)"

I believe it's the common wisdom that for people to be member of cult groups, that there's clearly something wrong with them. They have some mental disease, that no one else has picked up on or thought it was a big enough problem that it needed to be addressed. That all cultists (lets call them) are ex-convicts or have spent time in mental institutions, thats clearly not the case. All you have to do to know that, is to look at the Manson Family from the late 1960s.

Most if not all the members of the Manson Family, were all educated, headed for college if they wanted it. And all came from middle to upper middle class families, all with loving parents. Except for their leader Charlie Manson, who had a at least borderline nightmarish childhood, never knowing his father. A mother who didn't want him and wasn't prepared to raise him, who got passed around from house to house, who I believe never even attended high school, at least on the outside. Jonestown is another example of that where either their leader in Jonestown was well educated and very intelligent.

But Jim Jones was also borderline evil and became a very dangerous man responsible for the murders of hundreds of people. Jonestown again was made up of young middle class people who were somewhat lost in life and not sure where they were going. Who hated the injustices they saw in life and were looking for an escape. They were essentially a collection of Socialists who were looking for an opportunity to build a Socialist Utopia. This was the vision of Jonestown that was to be set up in the jungles of Guyana. A communitarian lifestyle where the cultists would live off of each other and live off the land.

It's not so much the mentally ill that are targets of these cult groups, but people who have talents, intelligence, abilities, but are not sure where they are going in life. These are the people that get picked up by these groups, because these cult leaders see potential in these people, that they want to exploit and take advantage of in all sorts of ways. The Manson Family and Jonestown are perfect examples of this.

People who tend to fall in these cult groups, tend to be looked down from people on the outside, who don't understand cult groups as stupid or crazy. "Look at those nuts or morons they deserved what they got". That sort of thing when people who fall into these groups could be the next door neighbor in a middle class or wealthy community. These groups tend to be made up of people who are somewhat lost in life and looking for a break from reality.

Slave Obey's: Blind Faith- Expose on the Potter's House Family of Churches

Source:Slave Obey's

The Religious-Right in America are people who are theocratic Christians and would like to see an official religion in the United States, who would completely rewrite the United States Constitution and make it look like a fundamentalist religious document. This is why I call this political faction in America thats on the far-right a religious-cult.

Thats exactly what the Religious-Right is, a lot of these people are either very ignorant or brainwashed or a combination of both. And view people that the country as a whole tends to tolerate and not look down on as immoral people. Such as homosexuals, adulterers, gamblers, people who watch adult entertainment to use as examples. All things that the Religious-Right would like to outlaw in America.

Other Americans might not approve of these activities. But tend to look at it as "the individuals business and we do not need big government interfering with how individuals live their own lives". And so-fourth, but with the Religious-Right its another ball game. They just don't look down at these activities, but see them as immoral and Un-American and needs to be outlawed all together. This is why I call the Religious-Right in America a religious cult.

Investigation Discovery: Wicked Attraction- Kidnapped (2008)

Source:IMDB- from the Wicked Attraction Episode.

“Wicked Attraction examines the kidnapping of Colleen Stan who was held as a sex slave for seven years by Cameron and Janice Hooker.

In 1977, twenty-year-old Colleen Stan hitchhikes from Oregon to California to surprise a friend for her birthday. She never arrives. Colleen is picked up by Cameron and Janice Hooker, an unassuming couple with a newborn baby. When Colleen climbs into the back of their car, it is the beginning of a seven year odyssey of physical, mental and sexual abuse. As time passes, Colleen stays with the Hookers and endures the abuse, even when it seems she is free to leave…leading many to wonder if she was ever truly a captive at all.”

From IMDB

From Kono Hunas

This photo should give you an idea of what sexual slavery (for lack of a better term) can look like, when someone is kidnapped simply to meet the sexual pleasures of the sick kidnapper or kidnappers.

Source:Real Life Journal- this is not from the same episode or story, but hopefully the photo gives you some idea what Colleen Stan went through when she was kidnapped.

I’m not sure how a couple could successfully hold someone hostage for seven years without anyone knowing or having any idea where the kidnapped victim is. I mean playing the percentages the victim would probably have multiple opportunities to escape.

Criminals don’t tend to be so efficient to the point that they can’t go that long without making some mistake that gets back to the authorities and screws up their operation. The kidnappers have bills to pay and have to go out from time to time, they have to keep their victim not only alive, but healthy to do whatever they are expecting from that person.

For Colleen Stan who went through that amount of pure torture, worst than spending long periods of time solitary confinement in jail, she seems pretty healthy both physically and mentally.
