"Artis probably challenges The Iceman and Doctor J. for the title of the greatest ABA basketball player. Devastating under the baskets, always hustling and a great passer as well. Formed a deadly front line with Dan Issel for the 1975 ABA champions Kentucky Colonels. Gilmore got overshadowed by other greats after the merger, but it's good to see that he has been inducted in the Hall of Fame. Artis has a monster game against the Spirits with 33 points.
